Compare the energy of Bangkok with the tranquility of a tented camp before spending a week on the coast
What we love: Relax and enjoy this diverse journey through bustling Bangkok, tranquil Khao Sok and the beautiful beaches of Khao Lak, with every moment of the detailed itinerary fully planned for you
Beautiful and fascinating Thailand is a land of diversity. From Bangkok's manmade modernity that sweeps you away in sensory gusts, to a rural heartland where rainforests remain the domain of gibbons and macaques, and where elephants can be seen in the morning mist. Then there are the beautiful beaches, known for their pristine beauty and tropical atmosphere.
During our two week adventure you will see all sides of Thailand. It starts in Bangkok, where you stay in a chic five-star hotel in a prime location, perfectly placed to spend three days exploring this noisy and fun metropolis. A calmer vibe awaits as you fly south to Elephant Hills and spend three nights in a luxury tented camp in the jungle of Thailand - similar to those on safari in Africa. You will meet elephants, explore the rivers, hike through the rainforest and learn how to cook authentic Thai dishes. The nights are spent under tarpaulins - but perfectly comfortable thanks to proper beds, wooden floors and bathrooms.
After camping, trade the jungle for the beach and spend a week at a beautiful resort with all the trimmings to feel completely pampered. Overlooking the Andaman Sea, Apsara Resort & Villa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the delights of Thailand's coast. If you're willing to venture a little further, national parks and exotic islands are within easy reach for a day trip to the tropics to find out why Thailand's west coast is so prized.
